Ambler General Contracting is a family-owned construction company with a heartfelt desire to help local families achieve the dream of homeownership.
The company began as Handy Oahu and later became Ambler General Contracting as the work expanded into larger commercial contracts and more complex construction needs. That growth strengthened the company’s capabilities, but it did not change the purpose behind the work: building practical, quality spaces for the people and communities of Hawaii.
We focus on building housing that meets the needs of our community, prioritizing quality and affordability over profit.
We are part of this community and understand the challenges local families face as the pricing and demand for homes continues to increase across the islands.
We started this construction firm with the intention to help make homeownership a reality for our kama'āina.
